English
Shu・Nazuna・Mika
Crumbling away, at the brink of insanity
Stay confined in this moment, for eternity
As our cracks grow ever lost 1
Shu & Mika:
We swear our vows to the Cross
Eyes of crimson red
Awaken to dread
By only you, shall it be seen
It, this shadowgraph of a dream
What you hold dear 2
Is it not here?
I shall be the sole artisan
Of your immortalization 3
Blood bestoed, sweet as nectar
Automaton’s perfecter 4
Our arms, twisted ‘round and entangling
As if being pulled into dancing
Become like ivy, become like thorns
Tranquility and something to scorn
To my virginal heart
They will soon be impart
Black as pitch, those vicious nails
A blue rosebud do they trail
One by one, those petals soft
One by one, are they torn off
Yet still, we continue to live
Mika & Nazuna: For the seasons, they freely giveAmidst this romance which breathes and devours
We may embrace if for only an hour 5
Crumbling away, at the brink of insanity
Stay confined in this moment, for eternity
As our cracks grow ever lost
Shu & Nazuna: We swear our vows to the Cross
That name of yours, repeating
A melody unceasing
Your true feelings can no longer
Be declared without a falter>
Your slender throat, now sewn up tight
Cries silk thread-voice without a fight 6
Our bodies, twisted ‘round and entangling
As we continue on, ever dancing
Become like ivy, become like thorns
Euphoria and something to mourn
Filled through our lungs and drowned our chests
Thus leading to our requited deaths 7
I had to change some lines’ meanings to fit the rhyme beyond what I think is comfortably accurate, so here’s the correct versions of them alongside some extra notes:
[ 1 ] “As our cracks grow wider”
[ 2 ] “What you desire”
[ 3 ] “I shall be the only one to write the rest of your history”
[ 4 ] My interpretation of this line is that “blood sweet as nectar is given to an automaton, granting them life.”
[ 5 ] “If for only an instant”
[ 6 ] All this line literally means is, “Becomes a voice of silk thread.”
[ 7 ] “Requited deaths”—they are the cause of one another’s demise.
